A message from Fr. Joe Mallia

Rising from the Ashes Revival is a chance to grow, renew, and deepen your faith in Christ, centered in the Eucharist. Through inspiring speakers, uplifting praise music, and fellowship with Catholics from across the Archdiocese of Detroit, we hope every attendee encounters Christ in a meaningful way.

A highlight of the day will be a public procession with the Blessed Sacrament from Huntington Place to the Spirit of Detroit statue, culminating in a blessing over the city and the Church of Detroit from Archbishop Weisenburger.

This revival is about hope. Life can be challenging, but God is greater than any obstacle. We are called to rise, move forward boldly, and bring Christ to the world around us. Strengthened in faith, we also seek to serve others: all ticket proceeds will support Better Way Detroit, Catholic Charities of Southeast Michigan, Mary’s Mantle, The Pope Francis Center, and the Capuchin Soup Kitchen.

Unlike any other recent event in the Archdiocese, Rising from the Ashes Revival unites Catholics beyond parish boundaries to celebrate our shared faith in Christ. Join us and be part of this movement, together, in the Holy Spirit, we can strengthen our faith and be the revival God is calling forth in us.
